Until today, Forge had a wall in the wrong place. You could download the app, write entries, track your streak — all free. But the moment you tapped Analyze, the thing Forge actually exists for, you hit a paywall before ever seeing what the AI does. We asked you to trust that the analysis was worth paying for without letting you feel it once. That changes in 1.11.

Write an entry, tap Analyze, and get the full five-part breakdown: What's Actually Going On, What You're Telling Yourself, The Blind Spot, What's in Your Control, and One Move to Make Today. You get three of these — enough to know whether Forge sees things you don't.
A counter under the Analyze button shows how many you have left. And the allowance is tied to your device's secure storage, not the app install — deleting and reinstalling doesn't reset it. Three means three.
WHY WE DID IT
Screenshots can't demo Forge. The only demo that matters is the AI reading your words — your situation, your stories, your blind spot — and handing back something that stings a little because it's true. That experience can't be faked in marketing copy, so now we just give it to you. If the third analysis doesn't earn the subscription, don't subscribe.
Forge Pro still carries the rest: unlimited analysis, Conversation Mode to push back on what the AI flagged, progress reports that connect patterns across weeks, and the Sunday digest.

We added analytics — and because Forge's entire pitch is privacy, here's exactly what that means. We now count anonymous events through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first service: things like how many people finish onboarding or run an analysis. The signals are anonymized before they leave your device and can never be tied to you. Your journal entries, your health data, your identity — none of it is ever included. Same architecture as always: your words live on your device and your iCloud, and we couldn't read them if we wanted to.
