How do I get new jokes?▾
Just tap the "Tell Me a Joke!" button or pick a category. Joke Box has 700+ jokes across 7 categories, and we add more regularly — no app update needed!
How do I save a joke I like?▾
Tap the heart icon below any joke to save it as a favorite. You can find all your saved jokes in the Favorites tab (tap the book icon on iPhone, or check the sidebar on iPad).
How do I share a joke?▾
Tap the share icon (square with arrow) below any joke to send it to friends and family via Messages, Mail, or any other app.
I found a joke that isn't appropriate for kids. What do I do?▾
Tap the flag icon below the joke and select a reason. Your feedback goes directly to our team and we'll remove or fix the joke — usually within hours, no app update required.
Does Joke Box work offline?▾
Yes! All 700+ jokes are stored on your device. You can enjoy Joke Box anytime, anywhere — no internet connection needed.
Does Joke Box collect any personal data?▾
No. Joke Box collects zero personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. Everything is stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What ages is Joke Box for?▾
Joke Box is designed for kids ages 5 and up. Every joke is curated to be clean, kid-friendly, and easy to understand.
How do I turn off sound effects?▾
Tap the speaker icon in the top-right corner of the app to toggle sound effects on or off.
Is Joke Box available on iPad?▾
Yes! Joke Box has a dedicated iPad layout with a two-column view — browse your history and favorites in the sidebar while enjoying jokes in the main view.
How do I add the home screen widget?▾
Long-press on your home screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for "Joke Box", and add the Joke of the Day widget in small or medium size.
